Maracas is one of the percussion that you definitely want to have.
Wooden maracas are typical for brass band, and leather maracas are typical for Latin. Did you know that there are various sizes from large to small?
The "mini maracas" are not limited to the general "fist-sized" size, but are one or two times smaller than that. Introducing 7 types that will show their true potential even at the performance site!
Nothing beats this! Pay attention to the "sharpness" of the sound.
The characteristic of small maracas is their "sharpness". The size and shape of the head are more important than the size of the grains inside, which makes it easy to create a cohesive sound such as chattering. A small head, such as a mini maraca, makes it easier to collect the grains inside and hit the wall than a typical size.
The above image / LP mini maracas on the far left is the result that the "sharpness" is the best in this comparison. On the other hand, the one without "sharpness" means that the sound is uneven or loose when shaken, but the same photo / the rightmost Meinel Egg Maracas is made of plastic and is lightweight. The most difficult control is to produce a cohesive sound. If you take it in the wrong direction, it is a perfect substitute for practice. It's a low-priced range, and I'm happy that it's a size that can be kept in a bag.
I want to open the contents and see! I tried to predict the grain size from the sound.
The larger the grain size of the contents, the coarser the tone. Introduced below in descending order of grain size (probably!).

It feels much lighter than the LP285.

What is the difference in pitch?
If you think simply, the bigger your head, the lower the sound should be, but in this comparison, an individual that goes against it appears!
From the one with the highest pitch, the result is ⑦⑥①⑤②④③. Plastic is easy to make high noise due to the hardness of the wall surface. Regarding leather, there are some parts that cannot be said unconditionally because the pitch may change due to individual differences in leather, but it should be noted that ④ LP maracas.
Rather than having a low pitch overall, the high notes are sounding in a well-balanced manner, and it feels like you can reach the itchy place!
The size of the grains inside seems to be not much different from ③ Tycoon, but I think that it is a toy-like design due to the size and shape of the head, or the nature of a mini musical instrument, but the details are firmly made, which is unique to a long-established manufacturer. It is a gem that you can feel the commitment of.
