Founded in 2001 in Ohio, USA by drummer and educator Jason Edwards.
While working as a drum instructor, he felt the need for a higher quality practice pad and started making a prototype. He showed the prototype to Jim Chapin, who was taking his lessons at the time, and after incorporating various opinions, he turned it into a product.
It features a practice pad with a rim made of birch wood.
