ト Composer's Comment》
This song is for the ensemble contest commissioned by the YAMAHA Brass Band Hamamatsu and will be the third work after LUNA(2007) and GEMINI(2008).
"Tipoeus"is a Greek god(monster)also known as Tepon, it is said to have waged a mortal battle with the main god Zeus, and it is also said to be the origin of"Typhoon" (typhoon)from its violence.
The song is composed mainly of a conflict between the theme of the Church and the theme of the church. The song uses a motif(rhythm and pitch relation)that is common to the previous two works and the"Star Story〜Chapter of the Wind"composed at the same time as this work.
In this work, not only the three elements of music(melody, harmony, rhythm), but also"acoustics"by special instruments and special playing methods are very important. Please aim for a sound with depth.
