Description
New model of LP Matador Conga! Looks like a whiskey barrel.🔊
The 2020 new model of LP's popular class "Matador", Whiskey Barrel Conga!
Whiskey barrels are whiskey barrels, and they have a somber look that reminds you of the history of conga, as they were once made from rum barrels!
As I recall, it was created as a model to match the "barrel-shaped cajon" that LP made to fully demonstrate its individuality as a Latin percussion maker.
The bass tone, open tone, and slap tone sound in a well-balanced manner, just like the LP Classic model, but this Whiskey Barrel model made of pine wood seems to be able to produce more distinct tonal differences.
Although it has a dark appearance with a dark brown body and rough black parts, it has a bright sound with high sound quality that comes out throughout, probably due to the light weight of pine wood.
Pine wood is a light and soft material, and when you pick up the conga, you will be surprised at how light it is, contrary to its appearance.
This is great for people who frequently carry things around or find it difficult to carry heavy items.
Due to its softness, it is easily damaged. Please handle with sufficient care.
The quality of the head is slightly lower than that of the LP in order to keep costs down, but it has a good overall resonance and will be easy to play even for those who are not used to congas.
When replacing the head, you can also attach the head of an advanced LP model.
