Comporser's comment
his piece is structured around the vibraphone in a fast–slow–fast three-part form, with various instruments intertwining and evolving throughout.
Mira is a famous variable star located in the constellation Cetus. True to its name, its brightness changes over time — and in the same way, the melody in this piece also transforms.
I encourage performers to add their own variations to make the work even more enjoyable.
