Composer's comment
Some time ago, I promised a married couple who are friends of mine that I would “write them a piece” as a wedding gift. Time passed, and before I knew it, they had a daughter. Watching her grow up healthy and happy, a melody suddenly came to mind, and that became this piece.
The father plays the euphonium, the mother plays the marimba, and they are surrounded by many musical friends.
I wrote this piece with the wish that, wrapped in the love of her parents, this little baby will open the door to a wonderful future and grow up healthy and strong, and that she will enjoy a life full of music and love.
