Summary
“Drum Builders Meeting 2024” was held over two days.
We feel that it was a fun and fulfilling event with many people in attendance.
Each builder booth exhibited a large number of unique and wonderful instruments that perfectly reflected the design philosophy of the makers. These instruments, which were carefully considered based on user feedback and field experience, overflowed with interesting sounds that would not be possible with major brands.
There are still some builders and customizers that we haven't been able to introduce yet.
Rather than ending up as a one-off festival, we would like to use this event as inspiration to think about various things to further enliven the area surrounding drums and percussion instruments, so that JPC can function as a hub that connects builders, users, and builders with each other.
We would like to thank all the builders who cooperated with us and the many people who came to visit us.
