TAPS LA Music festival is a popular summer camp that lights up the summer in Los Angeles every year.
The host is Ted Atkatz.
Former Chicago Symphony Orchestra principal timpani and percussionist California State University, Long Beach Bob Cole Conservatory of Music Principal Percussion Department Principal Percussion Department Colburn School of Music Instructor
Passionate students from all over the United States gathered under the guidance of such talented instructors, and this year's event ended with great success last month, surrounded by smiles and applause!

◎Date and time: Friday, August 21, 2026 - Sunday, August 23, 2026 Held for 3 days
◎Venue Shofukuji: Music studio (1st basement floor of main hall)
- Address: Shofukuji Temple, 4-6-1 Noguchi-cho, Higashimurayama-shi, Tokyo
- Nearest station: Approximately 15 minutes walk from the west exit of Higashimurayama Station on the Seibu Shinjuku Line
- Parking lot There is a parking lot within the grounds (approx. 40 spaces)

- Performance techniques and knowledge by instrument
Snare drum, timpani, bass drum, cymbals, small percussion instruments (tambourine triangle), etc. - Orchestra audition preparation
- Mental approach to achieve the best performance during the performance
- Percussion ensemble (rehearsal & performance)
- Public lessons, Q&A, etc.
- Mock audition *(Not open to the public, participants must be enrolled in the regular course) (Held on August 23rd)
