A limited model developed to commemorate the 40-year relationship of trust between GAD and Yamaha.

This is a new signature snare drum limited to 800 units worldwide, developed through a relationship of trust built over 40 years between Steve Gadd and Yamaha.
The shell material is made of 1.2mm thick steel, and both sides of the shell and the 3.0mm aluminum die-cast hoop have a black nickel finish featuring Steve Gadd's image color, black.
The combination with the SG specification 10 type snare wire clearly reproduces Steve Gadd's unique detailed rudiments passages.
Includes a limited edition tuning key with the same black nickel finish as the shell hoop, and a photo and autographed certificate.

[Steel shell]
1.2mm thick steel material is used for the shell material. Achieves powerful, aggressive volume and clear rim shot sound.
It has a black nickel finish featuring Steve Gadd's image color, black.

[SG specification 10 type snare wire]
Equipped with a snare wire that produces a tight and clear sound that can clearly reproduce Steve Gadd's unique detailed rudiments passages.
In pursuit of a unique snare wire sound, we have adopted a deep 3.5mm snare bed that is less susceptible to interference from other drums.

[Aluminum die-cast hoop]
Made of aluminum 3.0mm, 10 hole specifications. A unique attack and decay feel, powerful rumble, tasteful tone, and crisp rim shot.
It has a black nickel finish featuring Steve Gadd's image color, black.

[One piece rug]
Adopts a one-piece rug with a traditional design.
Achieved a solid sound with a sharp sustain.

[Center bead]
The aperture in the center of the shell uses an original out-bead (convex) design.
While maintaining an open, clear, and powerful sound, you can comfortably control the volume and shell resonance, allowing for a wide range of sound makeup.

[Remo Power Stroke 3 Coated]
The hitting head is equipped with a Remo Power Stroke 3 coated head.
The combination with the steel shell snare drum creates a core sound.

[Limited tuning key, photo/autographed certificate]
As a bonus for this special snare drum, there is a limited edition tuning key "DK25" which has the same black nickel finish as the shell.
A certificate with a photo and handwritten signature of Steve Gadd himself is included.

[Japan limited benefit]
As a limited bonus for YSS1455SG sold in Japan, it is based on Steve Gadd's image color black.
A special hard case with a luxurious feel and a cutting sheet with the person's signature cut out will be included.
