This jazz brush is inspired by vintage brushes from decades ago and recreated in a form suitable for modern performance.
The roots of this brush go back to "Jack's Drum Shop," which was run by Jack Adams (Alan Vater's grandfather) in Boston. We have thoroughly researched the design and sound of vintage brushes made specifically for jazz and big band players, and brought them back to life today.
グリップは0.530インチで、軽く手に馴染み、素早いタッチが可能です。 The thin wire produces a rich, supple, classic swish tone, bringing out all the delicate nuances of jazz and big band.
The reddish-brown rubber grip pays homage to vintage brushes, as well as Boston's nickname, "Beantown." With this brush in your hands, you can feel the atmosphere of the basement where the history of Vater drumstick making began.
