Özgür Can Öneyの長年にわたるスタジオワーク、ライブ演奏、ツアー経験、そしてトルコ・シンバル工房での製作経験から生まれた「Ad Astra」シリーズ。
ローマの言葉「Ad astra per aspera（困難を越えて星へ）」に由来する名の通り、試行錯誤の中で磨かれたサウンドデザインが特徴です。
オスマンの盾を思わせる独特のフォルムに、オーブン工程によるダークなトーン。ベル部分のみをレイジング加工し、それ以外は未加工のナチュラルフィニッシュとすることで、複雑でありながらコントロールされたレスポンスを実現しています。比較的軽めのウェイト設計により、明瞭で扱いやすいアタックと、余韻の伸びやかさを両立しています。
Rock、Funk、Fusion、Progressiveなど幅広いジャンルに対応し、スタジオからライブステージまで高い適応力を持つシリーズです。
