Description
In the 1980s, the Mastercraft Rosewood snare drum was the world's first and only "all rosewood" snare drum.
Rosewood is famous as a material for guitar fretboards, and has also been used as an exterior material for drums, but because it is an extremely hard material, producing all-rosewood drum shells remains extremely difficult, even today at a time when technology has advanced.
However, its dark tone, sweet resonance, and powerful sound became very popular among drummers who were looking for a new sound, and the recognition that rosewood = TAMA was established. This 50th anniversary limited edition model reproduces the sound of the past. The unique sound of rosewood will provide a wonderful musical experience not only for those who know that era, but also for those who are experiencing this sound for the first time.
