Description
Yosuke Nomoto – “Tales of the Star” Series
Composer: Yosuke Nomoto
Duration: Approx. 5’12”
(Based on reference recording. Actual time may vary depending on tempo and interpretation.)
Composer’s Note
This work draws inspiration from the first story in Greek mythology:
From the primordial chaos (Chaos), the earth goddess Gaia was born, followed by the sky god Uranus, the harvest god Cronus, and finally Zeus, the supreme god. Their desires and egos swirl into a cosmic struggle for dominance over the heavens.
A key element of this piece is the use of sounds produced by friction (“scraping” techniques). In the opening Chaos section, do not be bound by the score—create freely, and shape a sound world filled with expansiveness and depth.
