The extra-thick beach shell outer and inner are covered with a palisandre rose wood veneer, producing a deep and punchy sound.
A variety of characters can be brought out depending on the tuning, but this is an excellent snare drum that gives a calm and strong impression anytime, anywhere!
Moreover, it is a Drum City original specification that is reminiscent of the press hoop specifications of yesteryear!
The feel is softer and the sound is more open than the genuine die-cast hoop version.
The result is an instrument that is fun to play!
