For more than 20 years, I have got many pedals that have been released and have been using them. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a pedal that seemed really suitable for my performance. Compared to some legendary vintage pedals, the majority of the current pedals are sufficiently speed and instantaneous power when stepping on, but it turns out that the return of the beater is slower.
The vintage design pedal has been modified to the original design in response to the demands of wanting to hit more strongly, impairing the perfect balance. As a result, the top of the beater became heavier. Trying to execute a lot of pedal techniques that enables easy speed without focusing is not possible in this state. It's like having an unbalanced stick. Many pedals are trying to make up for this kind of problem with an elaborate adjustment function, but the probability of success is very limited.
To that end, I started exploring to devise a perfectly balanced pedal that matches the current musical demand. For about six years, I have prototyped a variety of parts, drive systems, and footboards, and now have the blue copy of the pedal in front of you. It focused on not only actions, but also easy to carry and quick setup.
