ROHEMA was founded in 1888 in Markneukirchen, known as the city of music in Saxony (formerly East Germany) in eastern Germany. The name of the company is derived from the acronym of the founder Robert Eduard Hellinger in Marknuekirchen. At the beginning of its founding, it produced its own drumsticks and batons. The current owners, Mattias and Audrias, have spent many years researching musical instrument creation and succeeded in expanding the range of musical instrument manufacturing. Together with the craftsman Tobias, we keep the same tradition as the beginning and make full use of woodworking techniques to produce a wide range of drumsticks, batons, brushes, mallets, hand percussion and so on.
