Description
Djembe with a plastic head.
REMO djembe. The head is made of plastic, and the body is made of hardened wood chips called acousticon.
Compared to African djembe, I'm a little worried that the high overtones peculiar to plastic heads remain, but it resonates well from bass to treble.
Also, because it is a plastic head, it is not affected by humidity or weather, and there is no problem even if it is kept taut. The head can be easily replaced and maintenance is easy.
