Description
From Kyoto! Tunable berimbau made by Perkusanga.
Tunable berimbau from Percusanga, a Brazilian percussion studio in Kyoto!
The berimbau is an instrument that plays the rhythm along with pandeiro and atabaki (cowskin drums) in Capoeira, a martial art that originated in Brazil.
Originally, a wire was stretched around the rod, and the pitch was adjusted by changing the bend of the rod depending on the tension of the wire.
This tunable berimbau allows you to easily adjust the pitch with the pegs, and is recommended not only for capoeira but also as a percussion item!
The extremely detailed finish is also impressive.
●Size: Length approx. 150cm
●Accessories: drumstick, gourd, oak, stone
*As each unit is handmade, there may be individual differences in sound and specifications.
