It's hard to believe that it was created by banging drums, so it's truly a tropical experience! It has such a beautiful tone.

First of all, we will start with a beginner's class that is safe for beginners, starting with basic practice on how to produce sounds, and aiming to play simple songs.
Eventually, we plan to offer a middle class aimed at improving the level of playing.
The instructor is Mr. Yoichi Izawa, who is active as a steelpan player and performs with various players!

Lecturer introduction
Yoichi Izawa
Steel Pan (Steel Pan Player) Yoichi Izawa Graduated from Jiyu no Mori Gakuen / Graduated from Tokyo College of Music
In 1992, he encountered steelpan during the Renegades Steel Orchestra's performance in Japan and was shocked. 2000: Met Steel Pan Player Yoshihiro Harada, learned and experienced various things, and began performing as a Steel Pan player. In 2007, he participated in the steel pan contest "PANORAMA" held in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago as a member of the local orchestra Starlift Steel Orchestra. In 2008, he formed "WAIWAI STEEL BAND" and released three albums. He performs live all over the country and appears at various music festivals. He expresses himself in his own unique style, including as a unit with various instruments, as a soloist, and as a Steel Pan Band. He explores ``joy'' and ``sonic memory'' through steelpan and music.
