This lesson is recommended not only for beginners but also for intermediate and advanced players who want to thoroughly retrain from the basics and overcome weaknesses.

You will have fun learning the basic training necessary for playing the drums, from how to hold the sticks, to basic rhythm patterns, fill-ins, etc.

lesson system

• 3 times a month / 1 hour per lesson, group lessons for up to 4 people per class: fixed days and times
• Super practical instruction using one set for each student.
• Classification according to level.
  

Lecturer introduction
Uichiro Ichikawa

Born in Tokyo in 1954.
Since his student days, he has appeared at jazz live houses.
After graduating, he began his professional career focusing on jazz piano trios, and at the same time was engaged in rhythm education as a lecturer at a music school. He began to focus on writing for music magazines and writing.
In 1986, he presided over the ``Japan Rudiments Club'' as an independent study group for professional drummers, and created his own practice methods and newsletter.
Currently, in addition to his writing activities, he is also teaching younger students at Asakusa Drum Dojo and other places.
