This course is recommended for complete beginners, beginners to intermediates who want to thoroughly retrain from the basics, and those who want to overcome their weaknesses.

○3 times a month/1 lesson 80 minutes(The schedule will be decided and announced by the end of the previous month)
○Group lessons/All students can play instruments
*You will only be able to join after taking a trial lesson.

Lecturer introduction

Gen Date Sensei

Date string

Born in Meguro-ku, Tokyo, he studied at Tokyo College of Music's percussion department, and was active as a conga player at Orquesta de la Luz from 1987 to 1992. He toured more than 10 countries, mainly in Central and South America, North America, and Europe. From 1995 to 1999 he participated in the Orquesta del Sol. Crazy Ken Band's concert tour and recording (2005-2012), VOTOM, Apronzu, Shiro Sasaki Boogaloo Band, Banderas (salsa), Romantic Babaloo (Santeria), Suzken, Noriko Ota etc. (~2020), and currently occasionally MISIA. His own projects are also in progress. Also, since 1993, he has been in charge of conga classes at Asakusa Komaki Musical Instruments (Japan Percussion Center JPC), where he still teaches.
