Description
Zildjian has offered "paper thin" cymbals since the 1950s. Over the past 70 years, we have thoroughly examined trends in cymbals suited to musical needs, and as a result we have created a product that responds to the long-standing demand from our customers for the return of the "Paper Thin" weight.
A new advancement by Zildjian's R&D team adds the 18" to 22" Crush to the iconic K family, combining the unique characteristics of larger cymbals with the characteristics of the popular Paper Thin.
K Paper Thin Crash is not only light but strong, giving you an explosive dark crash, quick decay, and a soft, sinking stick feel.
What is noteworthy is that the newly restructured three-stage hammering process successfully brings out the flexibility and sonic nuances that are unique to this crash.
The very gentle profile (the shape of the cymbal when viewed from the side) creates a sparkle on crashes and a low-end resonance not found in other K family members.
Weight: Paper Thin
