The combination of a thin shell and lightweight hoop creates a sensitive and open sound. However, as expected of Sonar, it also has a solid core strength, making it a very easy to use snare drum. They demonstrate reliable performance in a wide range of genres, from orchestras and wind instruments to jazz, rock, and other pop music.
