Description
It brings a positive effect to the drummer's practice and performance. A revolutionary multi-purpose seat jointly developed by RCC DRUM SCHOOL and ASPR.
The project started with a request from RCC DRUM SCHOOL that they wanted a pad specifically for wire brush practice. As a result of many exchanges of opinions and trial production...
- Materials and coatings are completely identical to real drum heads
- The size is 14 inches, the same as a standard snare drum.
- Easy to carry, you can practice anytime as long as there is a flat surface
This α-HEAD is a pad that was manufactured to meet these conditions.
The hitting surface uses the same coated film as the ASPR head, and the back surface uses a special mesh sheet that has moderate elasticity, shape retention, and anti-slip properties. This makes it the perfect product for its original purpose of "practicing brushes."
Also, if you play the α-HEAD on top of a snare drum, the high pitch snare will completely change to a low pitch and dry sound. The tom-sized α-HEAD produces a warm sound reminiscent of the good old days when recording with blankets over the drums. The ability to change the sound instantly and the fact that the hitting surface is the same as a coated head is a big difference from the methods used at the time.
