◆About MEISTER SCHLÄGEL
A handmade series by Takayoshi Kondo, the principal timpani player of the New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra and known as a master timpani mallet maker.
After 15 years, we have created the Ehnelt timpani, a delicate instrument where the difference between the mallets clearly appears in its resonance and attack sound, and the wonderful sounding environment of the triphony hall, while incorporating the opinions of the conductor and fellow orchestra members. This is the spec I created.
