Alternating layers of chamois leather and wool
It is made of alternating layers of chamois leather and wool. It is very hard, but not as hard as wood, and has a bit of depth to it.

About KATO.B.K Flanell series
This model has a mallet head layered with leather, flannel, or other fabric, and the tip pressed with a cap.
It provides the "hardness" that cannot be achieved by wrapping with felt.
One of its features is the wide variety of options available, using a variety of ingredients.

*The screws in the flannelette will loosen over time, so please tighten them from time to time. Also, make it a habit to tighten them before playing.
