AAX Zen Effects has a unique design with a reversed bell compared to the normal Chinese cymbals. The bow has six evenly spaced holes, with six 2-inch discs loosely riveted between them, giving it a sense of attack and dirtiness. It can be used on a stand as usual, or as a hi-hat top or stacked on a large cymbal, making it a highly versatile and creative effect item that can be used in a variety of setups.
