The collaboration model with Clay Aeschliman from Polyphia, a band that continues to grow in popularity worldwide, is based on the regular LBU127, with an eye-catching Galactic Purple lacquer finish, and a 2ply head with built-in ring mute on the striking head. This model uses EVANS® Genera HD Dry to further emphasize the tight, fat sounding character of Bubinga wood. It provides a snare sound that is strong even in the high pitch, tight setups needed for an ensemble of instrumental music like the Polyphia.
