SCIROPPE Custom Snare Wire DRY 14 inch CN5947-20N310

The concept is『Delicious dry sound』

Completely handmade Snappy by Drum Tech Hirotaka Shinohara! 2nd regular model!!

The basic model "PS0955-1416N" had a glossy and bright sound that enveloped the snare, but this CN5947-20N310 has a matte and dark sound that tends to accumulate in the mid-low range.

It feels like an old and earthy smell naturally mixes with the snare.

The wire is a little thicker than the basic model, and the length is a little shorter to create a tighter sound.
(The plate is longer because the wire is shorter, so the overall length is the same as the basic model)
I'm intentionally aiming for a part that sounds crunchy and packed together, which sounds unnatural but attractive.

◇ Comments from producer: Hirotaka Shinohara ◇

Sciroppe is『I wish I had something like this』It is a brand that gives shape to.
Our top priority is not to create luxury products, but to provide comfort and peace of mind when using them.
Snappy is an important part that determines the sound of a snare drum.
There are many different types of snappies available in the world, each with their own characteristics. But inside『The sound with that snappy』There are some that cause the snare drum to become distorted, and some that kill the sound of the snare drum itself. I sometimes felt uncomfortable with such a snappy.
So I decided to make Snappy, but from the beginning『Snappy makes a good sound』I had no intention of making one. This is because a good-sounding Snappy already exists, and the discomfort I felt was not in the sound but in the reaction and way it resonated.
For example, a nimble sports car is better than a race car designed to win.
We spent a lot of time and effort making prototypes to achieve the results we wanted.
Among them, we derived『In keeping with the personality of the snare』It is.
This is the concept of SCIROPPE Snappy, a feature that other Snappy does not have.
When you hit this snare with snappy, you will feel the difference from others.

『It's kind of nice.』If you think so, that's the best result I'm looking for.
