Mallets are not just equipment in educational settings; they are also used by classical musicians, percussionists, drummers and many other performers to add rhythm and sound effects in conjunction with drum sets and cymbals.
With their synthetic fur covered heads, the 61427 timpani mallets are extremely sturdy and much less sensitive to wear and tear compared to old-fashioned timpani mallets.
The cork core and extra layer of felt give it a soft feel and plenty of volume.

ROHEMA was founded in 1888 in Markneukirchen, a city in the eastern German state of Saxony (formerly East Germany) known as a musical town. The company name is derived from the initials of the founder, Robert Eduard Hellinger in Marknuekirchen. When the company was first established, it produced its own drumsticks and baton. The current managers, Mattias and Audreas, have spent many years researching musical instrument creation and have succeeded in expanding the range of musical instruments they manufacture. Together with craftsman Tobias, they continue to uphold the same traditions as when they first started, using woodworking techniques to produce a wide range of products including drumsticks, batons, brushes, mallets, and hand percussion instruments.
