A type with leather on the bottom of the Udu.
The sound is produced by blocking the hole in the center of the instrument or by hitting the body with a ceramic pot.
Schlagwerk's Udu drum has a very rich bass sound. Another feature is that when you tap the body with your fingertips, it produces a beautiful high-pitched sound.
In addition, there is a tunable head on the bottom, so you can enjoy sounds similar to Darbuka. The range of tones is greatly expanded.
