Description
Ceramic Instrument, Udu
The clay construction of the LP Udu® Drum, developed by Frank Giorgini, is based on centuries of African tradition.
It is a ceramic pot, and sound is produced by covering the hole in the center of the instrument or by striking the body.
The textured body allows for a variety of sounds when scraped with fingernails or other objects.
*Because it is made of ceramic, it can be damaged if subjected to strong impact or dropped.
