Description
pearl timpani mallet
Model supervised by Yoshihiro Ando, principal timpani and percussionist of the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra
The Concert Custom model is a model supervised by Yoshihiro Ando, principal timpani and percussionist of the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, and is designed to be heavier and stiffer to the mallet head in order to demonstrate the clear pronunciation and sense of pitch of the timpani.
In addition, the shaft is made of thin hickory, making it lightweight and providing excellent mallet operability.
We have a lineup of 6 types of mallets.
The 667C uses cork material for the head, delivering a strong attack and clear tone.
This model is lighter than the so-called "wood drumsticks" which are made entirely of wood, so there is less stress on the timpani head surface.
*Delivery date is subject to availability at the manufacturer.
(During the year-end and New Year holidays and long holidays, the display may not be possible)
