This is an instrument based on the African thumb piano "Mbira". You can make beautiful sounds by playing the sound claws.
It is tuned to the Western scale.
Meinel Sonic Energy's Kalimba is rounded with no horns on the tips of its repelling claws. Perhaps because of this effect, the repelling feeling is soft, and the overall impression is that the lingering sound is likely to remain.
Made of acacia wood, KL1707H is characterized by its weight that fits in your hand. The ease of holding makes it easier for the thumb used for playing to move moderately and create a lingering finish. The sound is refreshing and sparkling.
