≪Excerpt from composer's comments≫This song was commissioned by my alma mater, Chiba City Shiki Junior High School, brass band club. This is his second work with Shikichu, following ``Hoshi Monogatari'' (2002).。
The name ``Wind Chapter'' comes from the fact that the song was composed with a ``Wind Orchestra'' style in mind, and the members who performed the performance for the first time did not originally have percussion parts, but were actually all ``Wind Instruments.''YesMasu。
Percussion 1: Glockenspiel (G59-C88 2-1/2 octaves), Zylophone (C52-C88 3 octaves), crash cymbals, bongos, congas.
Percussion 2: Vibraphone (F33-F69 3 octaves), maracas.
Percussion 3: Marimba (C28-C76 4 octaves)*, wind chime, gong, bass drum*.
percussion4: Marimba (C-C 4 octaves)*, bass drum*.
Percussion 5: chimes, tambourines, triangles, maracas.
Percussion 6: timpani (4), claves.
Percussion 7: Suspended cymbals, splash cymbals, Chinese cymbals, hi-hats, tom-toms (3), snare drum.
*The marimba and bass drum can each be played on one unit.
