The Meinl Artisan Edition Fandango Cajon is a premium cajon that pursues a high level of perfection in all aspects of sound, appearance, and playability. The resonant body made of 15mm thick solid tulip poplar wood provides a wide range of sound, from rich bass to clear snap. Equipped with two sets of 16 adjustable steel strings (8 each x 2) inside, you can freely control everything from delicate reactions to tight and sharp attacks.

The front plate is made of Indian heartwood, with a textured finish that feels nice to the touch and an ergonomic contoured shape. Rounded corners and thumb notches ensure natural fingering and high playability. Furthermore, the body and front plate are assembled with an optimized fit for each vehicle.

The sound hole is equipped with a thick ring structure and a pop filter to suppress unnecessary air noise while producing a well-balanced sound output suitable for studio recording.
