Joan of Arc for Eight Percussion Instruments Group / Jerry Grasstail
This work is based on the motif of Joan of Arc, who is said to have contributed to the liberation of Orleans and the victory of France during the Hundred Years' War between England and France. The story depicts her life, from receiving a divine revelation at the tender age of 13, to fighting against England, being burned at the stake, and then ascending to heaven.

5th Percussion: Suspended Cymbal, Bongo, Timpani (1)
6th Percussion: Chime (Hi-C, D#, E, F), Tam-tam, Suspended Cymbal
7th Percussion: Timpani (1), Hi-hat., Tone Chime (Hi-E)
8th Percussion: Timpani (1), Wind Chime, Conga (2)
A total of four timpani are required. From the bottom, G, C, D, Hi-G
