"Superstar Classic" is an all maple shell drum set. The thinly molded maple shell responds delicately to any tuning, producing a bright and clear sound with pleasant clarity. In addition, the hoop uses an outward-bent 1.6mm steel triple flange hoop, which further enhances the open and relaxed sound of maple wood. The depth of the tom is a little shallower, making it easier to add expression when filling in, and also allowing for a wider range of height settings when mounted on top of a bass drum.
