Information on traffic regulations around JPC due to the Sumida River Fireworks Festival

The annual Sumida River Fireworks Festival will be held on Saturday, July 26th.
(Cancelled in case of bad weather, etc. *As a general rule, a decision will be made at 8am on the day of the event)

As a result, traffic restrictions will be implemented in a wide area, mainly on the Sumida River, the venue, so if you are planning to visit on the day, please be careful.

It originated from the "Ryogoku River Opening Fireworks" launched by the eighth shogun Tokugawa Yoshimune during the Edo periodJapanThe oldest fireworks festival. Share the excitement of the fireworks that will brighten up the summer night sky with nearly 1 million people.
 

Also, after the fireworks display, it is expected that there will be extremely crowded areas such as the nearest Asakusa Station and Tawaramachi Station.
