Percussion instruments with a wide variety of materials and performance methods
While it is easy to produce sounds, it is a complex and profound instrument that changes the tone and role by playing, playing methods, and choosing the instrument.
This time, we will be introducing you to the concert cymbals, the instruments that many people find difficult, by Siena Wind Orchestra percussionist Seki Satoshi, using Ziljean cymbals.

In the second half, you will actually experience and experience specific playing techniques through public lessons.
Furthermore, if you wish to do so, Mr. Seki will also be able to select cymbals from the cymbal selection venue exhibited after the course is over.
■Seki Satoshi Profile
He completed Senzoku Gakuen College of Music Graduate School with the top honors. Upon completion of the course, he received the highest grades of all top players and won the Grand Prix.
He won the "Special Award" and the Grand Prix "Iwaki Award" in the 26th Percussion Newcomer Concert. 1st place and special prize at the 6th Romanian International Music Competition. The 31stJapanHe placed 2nd in the percussion category at the Wind Percussion Competition.
Appeared at Rainbow 21 Suntory Hall Debut Concert 2013.
As a percussionist at the Siena Wind OrchestraJapanHe has also been active nationwide, has performed at music festivals and music festivals by overseas orchestras, including the Royal Turin Opera and Royal Opera in Japan.
He also collaborates with orchestras and wind orchestras as a soloist.
In addition to music programs such as "Untitled Concerts," "THE MUSIC DAY," "FNS Kayo Festival," and "Music Station," she also appears in variety shows such as "Celebrity Ranking Check," "Nara≒Deki," and "Nep League."
He has participated in theme parks, game music, TV commercials, dramas, and films as well as recordings by famous artists such as Amuro Namie, Natsukawa Rimi, Yakushimaru Hiroko, Kudo Shizuka, and Yamauchi Keisuke.
Not only classical music, but also as a drum/percussion player, he is an all-around player, from pop to studio work.
Currently a Siena Wind Orchestra percussionist. Member of Percussion Group 72. Yamaha artist. Zildjian, Majestic, ASPR endorser.
He wrote for Music No Tomosha's "ONTOMO MOOK "The World of Concert Percussion"". He is the instructor of the 2024 one-point lesson in the brass band magazine "Band Journal."
