Instructor: Sumito Oi [Jazz Drummer/The Funfair]
Started drums at the age of 9 and studied under Masahiko Osaka in college.
Started performing activities mainly in jazz clubs in the Tokyo metropolitan area, and went to the United States after graduation.
Learn various style drumming at DRUMMERS COLLECTIVE in New York.
He has also gained various music experiences, including deepening friendship with the drummer Brian Blade.
Currently, he works in various groups such as Yosuke Yamanaka (SAX) Yamanaka (PF), mainly in his group SUMITTY & THE FUNFAIR We are working on expanding activities.
