The AQ series is the new core of sonar drums, introduced as the successor to the FORCE series that has supported the entry to middle class for a long time.
It has undergone a bold full model change, both inside and out, and even at first glance you can feel that it has evolved.

In 2021, the entry model "AQX" will be added, completing the series as the successor model of the FORCE series!

SONOR's AQ series has a new entry model full kit pack that includes cymbals and hardware in 2021! !

Although it has the same manufacturing method and virtually the same specs as the higher-end models AQ2 and AQ1, it uses poplar wood to achieve outstanding cost performance without sacrificing sound quality.
What's more, it comes with hardware and cymbals, making it a great value set that can be used immediately after unpacking.

In 2022, a compact size set will be added, making the lineup even more complete.

The AQ1 series is a drum set that uses an all-birch shell and inherits the tight, deep-core, calm sonar birch sound of the higher-end model.

The lineup includes sets with standard size configurations, such as "STGAE" with a 22-inch bass drum and "STUDIO" with a 20-inch bass drum.

In addition, the package includes hardware such as a hi-hat stand, snare stand, mini boom cymbal stand x 2, bass drum pedal, and tom holder, making this a recommended drum set that has everything you need for those who are thinking about starting drumming!

• The newly developed "Smart Mount" is designed to minimize the total amount of metal parts. Reduces the burden on the shell due to weight.
• APS─Rubber insulator that prevents direct contact between fitting parts and shell.

The shell of the AQ2 series is a 7-ply maple shell with 2 ply Canadian maple for the inner and outer, and 3 ply Asian maple sandwiched between them.

In addition to the 22-inch bass drum "STAGE" and the 20-inch "STUDIO," the lineup includes the 18-inch "BOP," the 16-inch "SAFARI," and the 14-inch "MARTINI," making it a richly varied lineup.

It can produce a sound that satisfies the needs of beginners as well as intermediate to advanced drummers!

*Small-diameter BDs SAFARI and MARTINI are currently not included in the domestic catalog lineup and must be ordered from your home country.
