Joined the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, 40thJapanWe received a comment from Yusuke Nakamura, who won first place in the percussion section of the Wind and Percussion Competition.
My name is Yusuke Nakamura, and I have recently joined the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra as a percussionist.
I am truly happy and grateful to have been able to start my journey as an orchestra player, which has been my dream since high school, so quickly and unexpectedly, and most importantly to be able to play as a member of the wonderful orchestra called Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra.
Also, the 40th edition was held last month.JapanWind and percussion competition percussion section
We won first place, the special grand prize in all categories, and the Prime Minister's Award. During the competition period, I was able to re-evaluate my performance from a different angle than in the orchestra, and it was a very fulfilling time for me. Receiving this prestigious award in such a long-established competition gave me great encouragement and a little confidence in myself, even though I am a member of the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, I am still a student.
Using these experiences as fuel, I will continue to face music seriously and work hard every day to grow step by step.
Thank you for your continued support.
