Asakusa Samba Carnival
The Asakusa Samba Carnival Parade Contest, which concludes Asakusa's summer, has grown since its inception in 1981 with the support of Asakusa's people who love lively things, and in recent years has grown into a major event that attracts 500,000 visitors every year.
